With never before seen historical America's Cup footage, interviews with the giants of the cup and narrated live by Gary Jobson, winning America's Cup tactician, America's Cup Hall of Famer, and Commentator for the upcoming America's Cup on NBC. The History of the America's Cup 1851 - 2012, including The Fabulous Newport Years (1930 - 1983). The America's Cup has a long and storied history dating back to 1851. Gary Jobson provides a live narration of this compelling story. Additional comments provided by Halsey Herreshoff, Dennis Conner, Ted Turner, Bill Koch, Russell Coutts, Tom Whidden and many others. The film concludes with a preview of the America's Cup World Series that will take place in Newport June 27 - July 1, 2012.
