instead of a traditional week-long film festival, newportFILM brings the festival spirit year round! four weekends a year we will produce a "mini-fest;" these weekends will incorporate the same great films that you would see at the best current festival programs around the globe. in addition to documentaries, shorts and a kids program, mini-fest weekends will bring filmmakers, wine receptions, workshops and panel discussions. these weekends aim to keep the spirit of fresh, independent film alive in well in our vibrant, artistic community.
