We continually seek volunteers to assist us in all areas from programming to transportation to marketing! The benefits of volunteering are vast. By volunteering with newportFILM, you know that you are a part of securing our foundation in the community, you'll likely make new friends, meet filmmakers and artists, see and learn about exciting new films and their subject matter.

If you love independent film and enjoy working in a high energy, team environment, here is your chance! newportFILM is a new, exciting film enterprise in Newport, Rhode Island. We'll be looking for Interns with experience and interest in all areas, including administrative, accounting/bookkeeping, marketing, special events and/or development.Ideally, applicants should be free to commit to at least 12 hours/week, be responsible and demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a strong interest in film, communications and marketing. This is a great opportunity to help plan, market and execute a new arts organization. Hours may be applied towards school credit if arranged with department in advance with approval.

newportFILM relies on donations from private individuals, corporate sponsors, foundations and philanthropic organizations to support our mission. Financial contributions (sponsorships) and donation of goods and services (partners) are examples of ways to help.
